Badrinath First Week Collections
Allu Aravind has stated that Badrinath is going to be the second highest grosses of all time, right next to Magadheera. He had called for a press conference earlier today to announce the first week collections of the film. Allu Arjun, V V Vinayak, Chandra Bose, Tagore Madhu and Anand Sai were present on the occasion.
Allu Aravind said, “It’s true that film opened with a mixed reaction. However, right from second day onwards, the collections have been steady. The film has collected a gross amount of Rs 28.25 crores in its first week. The share from this amount is Rs 20.25 crores. In neighbouring states like Karnataka and Kerala, the film collected a share of Rs 4.5 crores.” Later V V Vinayak added that he was shocked when the film opened with mixed reaction. “When I heard about the collections, I was pleased with the way the film was doing. We have worked really hard on the film. In a way, we were partially responsible for hyping the film so much,” Vinayak said.
Allu Arjun stated that the film has already broken the records of all his films so far. More than anything, he was happy that he scored a hit and also get married ahead of the release.

Dhada story of a telugu lad in Australia
The first look of Naga Chaitanya’s new movie ‘Dhada’ had released recently and received good applause from audience. The movie is currently being shot in Europe where a song is being picturised on Naga Chaitanya and Kajal. The movie is a story of a Telugu student in Australia.
The movie is directed by Ajay Bhuyan and is produced by D.Siva Prasad Reddy under Kamakshi Enterprises banner. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music.
Dhookudu Postponed to September
Mahesh Dhookudu is complete by 50% right now and the 2nd Half Shoot is in Progress. The Business is open for all Territories and a few have already been grabbed. Producers of the film are quoting a September 1st week release ( Aug 31/ Sep 1/2 ) for the film for the Trade. It is reliably learnt that even this is highly unlikely and Dhookudu will get another 2 weeks more and will get a Sep 3rd Week Release ( Sep 15 or so ).
With Strikes in the past and Scheduling problems of the lead actors, Dhookudu has been delayed this far and now it looks like an inevitable September Release.
No Lady Luck For Jr NTR And Bunny
The latest bridegrooms of Tollywood are NTR Junior and Allu Arjun. And their weddings happened at a time when their crucial projects ‘Shakti’ ‘Badrinath’ were shaping up. So, it was natural that many attributed the ‘lady luck’ factor for the release and were positive about the films scoring a hit.
However, both turned out to be big flops even after marriage. With this, some of them began to whimper “No hit means that no lady luck has worked for Bunny and Junior.” But then there are many who are countering it and point the problem towards the product and not luck.
A senior cine member said “When the directors have given such a stale and boring product, there is no point in blaming lady luck. There is no logic in attaching the unaware newly wed brides of Junior and Bunny to this because undoubtedly, it was the blunder from the directors and the scripts they have chosen.“
Mahesh, Sukumar’s film on 14Reels Entertainment banner
It is known that Mahesh Babu is currently engaged in the shoot of his forthcoming project Dookudu in Srinu Vytla’s direction being made on 14 Reels Entertainment banner. Next to this, Mahesh will join the sets of Puri Jagannadh’s new directorial The Businessman. Way2Movies has earlier reported to our viewers that Mahesh has also given his nod for a multi-starrer film with Venkatesh as his co-star in Srikanth Addala’s direction, titled as Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.
The latest buzz is along with Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Mahesh will also simultaneously shoot for a new project, which will take shape in the hands of Creative director Sukumar. If sources are to be believed, the film will be produced by Dookudu producers Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara on 14 Reels Entertainment banner.
